Supported wave formats
VoiceAngel can play or record wave files. TAPI applications can support 16bit,8000samples, Mono format with voice modems, 8 Bit, 8000Samples, Mono. 8 Bit, 11025Samples, Mono format with voice boards. But with some converting process, voiceangel support more formats. The formats of the .WAV files you use with VoiceAngel can be:

If you have a sound editor you can actually mix your voice messages onto a musical background and make very impressive, professional OGMs. The simplest one is the recorder shipped with windows. Most editors allow you to convert existing stereo files to comply with these parameters. But we recommanded that you record the voice with the orignal format to get clear voice.
